So it’s really been more than a month since I last updated?

A lot has transpired since we last communicated.

• We spent 6 days in Key West for my work. The event was a big success, and everyone enjoyed Key West quite a bit.
• We spent 10 days in Orlando, staying with the wife’s folks. They do the snowbird thing and were extremely gracious to put up with us that long. While down there we spent two days with Richie & Betsy Galaska, who are a wealth of information when it comes to living in Celebration. I ate a lot of French Onion dip and chips, plus Sam’s Club Chocolate Chip cookies, which are insanely good.
• There’s been a big family change (for the positive). If you know me or are my Friend on Facebook, you probably already know what this is.
• Our PA house is under contract! We’re scheduled to settle May 15. I’ll miss this house a lot. Why I love this house will be detailed in another post. I know the buyers will be happy here, though. We lucked out finding this place, and it’s been a great home to us, but we’re ready to move south.
• We’re moving to Florida! We’ve been wanting to do this for awhile. Being homeless as of May 15 is just the push we need. I can say with 95% confidence (alpha = .05) that we’ll be living in Celebration, along with Andy Bernard. We’re both very excited about being closer to family (hi, Dede!) and friends.
• We’re downsizing! Some furniture will be offered to the homebuyers or Craigslisted. We will consolidate down to one car. Ummm… we’ll probably still have five computers, though.
• The weather’s finally getting nice. Daffodils are poking through the ground and the grass looks a little greener than it did a few days ago. Trees are starting to form buds. We’re getting out of here right around the time it turns nice here.
• Work is more under control than it was a few months ago. This lets us focus on *gasp* strategy and process improvement.
