This brings me joy. I’m reminded of George Costanza pointing out, “You know we’re living in a society!”. As someone who has spent a lot of time on cruise ships, both as crew member and passenger, I’ve had ample opportunity to observe some horrible people. I’m glad the cruise line is reportedly stepping up and refusing to reinforce this kind of behavior. It’s naive to believe the customer can do no wrong. People are wrong, all the time. A hotel room is a privilege, not a right. The same goes for a cruise ship stateroom, an airline seat, a table at a restaurant, etc.
