The new “putting green” they put behind our house. In reality, they cleaned up the drainage ravine running through the scrub brush that used to be there. We haven’t had flooding problems since we’re almost at the top of a hill, but houses in the neighborhood behind us have had problems.

There are several neighborhood cats that pass through our property on the way to more hospitable lands. This is the first time I’ve seen this critter come right up to the door, and I happened to have my camera in my hand at the time! Meow.
