My parents could correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe I received my first stitch today.
See, I’ve had this… aberration… on my face for quite awhile now, probably a year at least. There are a few spots on my forehead, chin, and jaw, where the skin is red and flaky. It’s probably not the first thing you notice about my face, but you’d spot it quick. The severity of these marks varies, but it never disappears.
About a month ago we tried alclometasone for a few weeks, but that didn’t work. Then we tried Vytone, but alas, still no positive signs of healing. So today, we did a biopsy. The doc took a chunk on my jawline, the most inconspicuous location amongst the affected sites. She sealed it up with a stitch, applied bandaid, and sent me on my way.
So we’ll see what happens.
Too bad a little aloe didn’t take care of this.
