We booked a cruise yesterday. Looks like I’ll be visiting the Disney Wonder, my former workplace, next month, for a short 3 day cruise to the Bahamas.

If you’ll recall, I lived and worked onboard the Wonder for about 7 months, starting with the voyage across the Med to England for her christening in Southampton. That was after spending about 5 weeks with her in Fincantieri shipyard near Venice while under construction. I left the ship early in 2000 searching for greener pastures.

It’s unbelievable to me that it will have been close to EIGHT (8!) years since I was last aboard that ship. Time flies when you’re… well… working your ass off and trying to build a career? I think that’s how the saying goes.

The Mrs. is looking forward to seeing some of the places I’ve been going on and on about over the years. I’m interested in seeing the changes put in place since I left.
