Diet for life

We do a decent job at eating well, but we could still do much better. We do spaghetti, but then add baked buttery garlic bread. We do tilapia, but bread and pan-fry it. There are several recipes in our stash that use either heavy or light cream. And so on…

We’re on the right track but find that it’s easy to deviate… deciding what to eat is a bad idea on an empty stomach! Plus, much of the time convenience wins out over what’s right.

I’m hoping this document I created this weekend will help with deciding and planning.

There are rules, too, that I’m going to try hard to follow.

This is not a New Years Resolution. Most resolutions only last a few weeks. I need this to last a lifetime, so I’m purposely doing it before the new year.

We’ll see how it goes. Let me know if there’s a recipe that’s part of your healthy lifestyle that’s not on my list!
