What I did today:

• Drove from Anaheim to Newport Beach
• Tried forever to find parking, finally did valet
• Ate lunch
• Walked around for 20 minutes
• Drove from Newport Beach to Anaheim

Don’t know… my heart just wasn’t in it. It was interesting sitting in the restaurant, watching the chaos of harbour boat traffic. Otherwise, there wasn’t much in Newport Beach that you couldn’t find along the Jersey shore or in Florida. Beach communities seem to be similar regardless of where you are: tiny houses, shitty parking, fewer hot bikini babes per capita than you’d built up in your mind. Still, it was a decent outing.
