I’m heading to Malaysia in a few weeks for work. If you don’t know where Malaysia is, it’s about 10,000 miles away, and will take me about 21 hours of travel time to get there… and only one of those hours is layover.

The main flight is from Newark to Singapore. Direct. In case you’re not aware, this is an 18.5 hour flight, and is currently the world’s longest scheduled commercial flight. I’m half-nervous, half-excited about it.

The plane has a power supply for laptops at every seat, and there’s wireless Internet access onboard, so my plan is to try to update this weblog while I’m in the air. The journey starts 11pm on Sunday, November 27, Eastern Standard Time.
