Link: TopGolf – The exciting new point scoring real golf game, played at a high-tech driving range

The latest edition of Business 2.0 magazine had an interesting page about TopGolf, which is sort of like a driving range on crack. From what the article says, specially designed golf balls contain an RF chip. Each ball is tied to your account, so a measurement of where your ball lands can be made, then you receive points based on accuracy. Meanwhile, “caddies” stop by to take food and drink orders.

There’s only one here in the States currently (it’s in Virginia), but I’d expect more soon.
